Your Resting Place

I hear my Abba’s tender whispers:

“You are safe with Me, My beloved children. I am your shelter, your place of refuge from the trials, troubles, and absurdities of life. I welcome all those who are sad, lonely, mournful, tearful, and even disgraced to come into My loving embrace. Are you weary? Then come. Are your burdens too much for you to bear? Then come.

“Your tears do not offend Me or embarrass Me. You need not feel ashamed. My everlasting arms are your eternal refuge, always reaching out to protect you and hold you so close that you hear My heartbeat of tender love for you. I do not despise your lowliness; instead, I offer you My comfort, My forgiveness, My peace, My strength, and even My joy.

“Everything I do for you is an upgrade, beloved. For your sorrow and tears, I offer you My comfort and joy. For your sadness, I lift you up to join in the dance of life. For the futility you wear as a worn-out coat, I offer you purpose and hope in Me. For all the shameful rags you shed, I am more than willing to wrap you in My very own robe of righteousness.

“I offer a great exchange to those who choose to belong to Me. The refuge I bring you to is Myself. Take a deep breath, beloved, and remind yourself that I am willing to forgive all your sins when you come to Me by faith in Jesus Christ. Your repentance makes way for My grace to wash over you.

“So come into My presence without delay, beloved, for the time is right now and the place is right here for your healing journey to begin. Let Me be your resting place. Let Me be the restorer of your precious soul (mind, will, emotions). Breathe in, breathe out. And rest.

“Come, beloved. Just come. I will not turn you away.”
